An alphabet is a set of symbols used to represent consonants and vowels. Almost every written language has an alphabet, however, they all have a different number of letters. The modern English alphabet has 26 letters: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z. Each letter has a lowercase and an uppercase form.
