Cow’s milk is usually labeled according to its fat content. Skim milk, is also labeled as nonfat milk. The milk fat is removed so it’s fat-free. Skim milk is not creamy. Experts have long debated whether the fat in milk is healthy. In the past, it was thought that foods that are higher in fat were bad. But newer research shows that it’s the kind of fat that matters, more than the amount.
