Sunny-side-up eggs are cooked in a frying pan until the white is set but never flipped. As it sounds, the yolk remains runny and facing up. Sunny-side-up eggs are common (and delicious) on bowls, breakfast burgers, and on things like chicken & waffles. Done right, the whites of a sunny-side-up egg should be set with crispy edges, and the yolk should be hot and runny.
